A group of us set out to put together a very special night for a young mom who is battling cancer and her four year old son.
We learned that her son is a big fan of Olaf from Frozen and that Disney on Ice was coming to the Times Union Center in Albany. We set out to make a trip to this show happen for this amazing mom and her kiddo.
Knowing she would likely need some help, we contacted one of her friends who said she and her daughter would love to be part of the trip.
Since they live in Schulyerville and getting around is tough for the mom, we thought a limo/chauffeur would be the best option. It would allow for the moms to catch up and for the kids to have fun.
We contacted a few local limo companies, all were nice, but none we nearly as responsive as Mr. Harney. He suggested we book a Cadillac Escalade in case the weather was bad – which was a great idea. He also offered some great ideas in terms of scheduling and even worked it out so they could visit the Capital Lights in the Park after the show.
Knowing the sensitive nature of the outing, Mr. Harney kept in close touch in the days leading up show.
The driver – Patrick, was a true professional and gentleman who was wonderful with the kiddos and grown ups alike.
We are most grateful for the service they provided, but more importantly for the life long memories they provided our friends.
